Red Baron Thin formula has a viscosity or thickness of 5 cps (centipoise). Water has a viscosity of 0 cps making our Thin CA about the same as water. Because of its low viscosity, it will penetrate deeply into joints and bond them extremely well. It is best used for tacking structures together, repairing cracks in balsa or any hardwood, edge joints, and with wetting fiberglass cloth to reinforcing structures. Structures to be bonded must fit together tightly as the Thin formula will not form a glue fillet. Cure time takes only a few seconds and this process can give off an irritating vapor so it is a good idea to use this adhesive with good ventilation.
